ORIGIN OF THE MESH

The mesh used now in Western Africa has come a long way. Shown above is the original “sapor”, which originated in Ghana before spreading throughout West Africa. As you can see, the original sapor looks nothing like the mesh. The name sapor was eventually transferred to a new tool that emerged in the form of mesh. This naturally took the sapor name because it had the same function except with so many more benefits.

The mesh comes in different types: hand feel, texture and lengths. We can assure that our mesh has been tested and approved with flying colors.
